Happy Holidays to all!!!

It's Christmas Eve and you bet I'm excited - but I know it can't match my son's excitement, lol. It's been a very busy few days - hubby's bday was on Friday, so I worked my butt off between decorating, baking, and running around getting those last minute things. Yesterday we spent the day at the coast, visiting my dad, and enjoying the gorgeous sunny day! I didn't even need a coat :) The ocean always fuels me, especially if I'm down or feeling drained - and it did just that. I needed to be there, to watch the waves and recharge.

This is a tough holiday for me, my first Christmas without my mom, and I'm not exactly sure how it's going to go. All I can do is hope that she is with me in spirit, because my best memories of Christmas all include her. I miss her very much.

So before I get too sentimental here, take a look at these two hunky gifts I have for you:

Not bad choices for gifts, eh? I didn't think I could do too wrong in that department - you all have such fine taste in men :)

I wanted to also say a big thank you to everyone who comes and visits regularly. It's always a pleasure to hear from you, and brings a smile to my face. It's been a tough year for me personally and there are many times I've wanted to hide away, but you've shown me such kindness and love that it's made my healing easier. So thank you. I'm sending out big warm fuzzies, hugs, and of course CONFETTI!!!!!!

Oh, I wanted to share a fantastic review from TwoLips Reviews for Blame the Rain!
5 Lips for Blame the Rain
Blame the Rain is a story that makes fairy tales come alive once again and teaches us lessons about trusting in fate and change rather than fearing them. Blame the Rain will stand as one of author Ann Cory's absolute bests. A classic tale that gives us all hope for a better life, Blame the Rain is an absolute not-to-miss read.

Don't forget that there is still time to enter my blog contest to win a book thong and a copy of either Seducing Santa or Holiday Voices Digest. All you need to do is post on this week's or last week's blog post to be entered. Winner will be posted January 1st or second. You know of course there will be a new contest for January as well ;)

I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas - if you celebrate it.

I do believe that those loved ones no longer with us are definitely looking out for us and that their spirit and love can be felt on special family days like Christmas. Wishing you the best of Christmas memories.

Ann, my thoughts are with you and I'm happy for you that you have good memories of your Mom/Christmas at this time and always. Both my parents are now gone within the last 3 years and I understand. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

Oh yeah... Now that's an interesting place to hang a mistletoe. I wouldn't mind doing any kissing there. ;)

Happy Yuletide!

Hi Ann,
Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas. It is sad when we don't have a love one that has pasted away here to celebrate the holidays with us. I lost my dad about 7 years ago and still miss him. Here's wishing everyone a Happy New Year.

Happy Holidays and best wishes for 2007. Health, much success and happiness. The glue that holds our families together, is the importance of tradition, memories that we can always think of and our future.
