Last weekend we went and watched Santa Clause 3 - The Escape Clause. You know, I loved the first one very much and still do. It's on my top list of movies to watch over the holidays, along with A Christmas Story, Home Alone, Elf, It's a Wonderful Life, Serendipity, Love Actually, and the Grinch(cartoon version). The second one was okay, had its moments, but the 3rd one *sigh* had less laughs than ever. Still, it's become a tradition for us to watch them, so we did.

I was looking at what else is coming out that I'd like to see. Blood Diamonds looks good, The Holiday looks charming - I'm a HUGE Kate Winslet fan, and both my son and I are looking forward to Eragon as we both enjoyed the book immensely. I think this year has been the least exciting for movies in quite some time. In previous years there have been big movies out like Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, LOTR, and King Kong. What happened?

I wanted to share 2 of my most recent reviews, both from TwoLipsReviews!

5 Lips for Under a Warlock's Spell
Under A Warlock's Spell is another masterful tale from that mistress of the imagination without boundaries, Ann Cory. I was captivated as always from the first page, and any reader who enjoys medieval history, fantasy, tales of magic, or just wonderfully enticing story-telling, will treasure this special tale. Ms. Cory demonstrates especial talent in this story in setting, characterization, and the redeeming power of enduring love, in addition to the imaginative flights of fancy in which she and we readers revel throughout the tale. Readers, hesitate not to acquire Under A Warlock's Spell; it has definitely earned its place on my keeper and re-reader shelf! ~Reviewer Frost

5 Lips for Drinyian
Driniyan, as always, is a masterpiece from the marvelous Ann Cory, and I think this has become already one of my personal favorites. Ms. Cory has an incredible imagination which she doesn't hesitate to apply, and this blend of Gothic, medieval, and modern with touches of BDSM and love lost, found, and lost again will surely appeal to any reader seeking a touching and revealing story. ~Reviewer Frost

Join me December 14th for my author day at the Midnight Social group where I'll be posting excerpts from all my Midnight Showcase titles: Bard of Bristol, Holiday Voices, Deities of Desire, and Summer Heat 3!

My Midnight Romp Bard of Bristol is currently #1 on the hightest rated and read for Midnight Showcase at Fictionwise, which was nice to read.

Question of the Week:
The pic below is a glimpse of a character I'm writing about. What I'm missing are a few key components and I wondered if you would help me. Based on your suggestions, I will choose 1 and that person will win a handcrafted book thong and an Ann Cory butterfly magnet. What I need is: hair color, hair length, eye color, and a sexy first name. I will post the winner on my next blog update. Here's my source of inspiration:

My workouts have been going by the wayside, and I'm not really proud of that, but I'm finding it hard to fit in during my day, or at least this month. The one class I really enjoyed lasts an hour and a half and I found it was just too much time. So I've been walking on the treadmill and listening to tunes. I wish I could get motivated to exercise lol. Anyone have any tips on how to do that? Toss them my way!

I suppose I should get going. I have an edit to finish up, a story to work on, and hopefully I'll find the motivation to get our tree put up! Er, that counts as exercise, doesn't it? lol Everyone have a fabulous weekend!

Evening Ann, motivation you say, heck I think I'd be highly motivated to go to my gym sessions religiously if I had all that eye candy around *grin* how's a girl to resist that...

In answer to your question, I imagine MR HOT STUFF, to have dark thick black hair, straight, just off the shoulders with emerald coloured eyes and goes by the name THRAS. How's that *lol*

Man, I sure wish I could enter some of your websites on the newsletter, but unfortunately I'm using connection at work and the firewall restricts some sites *sigh*

Well done - awesome reviews!

I thought the treadmill was exercise; for me it is. At least I count it as exercise. LOL.
Give me some motivation if you find some.

Congrats on the reviews! You are doing better on the exercise routine than I am. I have not even been able to get started back on mine since having my baby girl on October 10th, 2 days after our birthday on October 8th Ann. Talk about getting the best birthday gift ever. I told my hubby nothing could ever top that. :-) As for the hunky guy in the picture, I am going with long black hair and silver eyes. The name would be Saber.

He should have short hair but shaved at the sides above the ears. Hair color should be golden brown.
He should have mezmerizing eyes that pierce the soul. Bronze colored with green flecks.

And he needs a tattoo. Nothing guady but something that will fit the story.
It should be on his back or arms.

oh and um...10 inches lol

Woo hoo! Congrats on those awesome reviews. I loved both of them too!!

I hate working out without a buddy. I always dragged someone along to yoga class with me. Do you have someone you could take with you?

As for Mr. Abs there...

I love long dark hair as much as everyone else, but with skin that looks like golden velvet, I want the rest of him golden too...

Dark blond hair. Long. Not shoulders long, but really long, like well past his shoulder blades.

And light brown eyes, the colour of brown sugar.

Lets call him Sebastian. Boss for short.

Just for fun ;)

Great pic!!! I am imagining him with crew cut dark brown hair and chocolate brown eyes with long eyelashes. I am thinking Tyler Ashton for his name.

I also envision him with coal colored wavy hair half way down his neck and shaved underneath. Give him ice blue eyes and I would call him Dominic.

Hi Robynl - I think I did a typo there on the treadmill part - I forgot to mention how slow I walk, with zero incline, and I stop/start frequently, lol.

Sadly I haven't found a bit of motivation - and I've taken to baking pies. My hips are happy, lol. *hugs*

Sadly I don't have a workout buddy. Of course I'd probably find a way to get out of it even if I did, lol.

Sebastian is a dreamy name - this wasn't supposed to be so difficult, lol

Great suggestions!!

Well, he is definitely a dark, rich chocolate brunette, and the hair has to be shoulder length. His eyes are deep sea green, and his name is Joshua.
