Romancing the Valentine Giveaway Hop
Love is in the air whether it's snuggling up with your loved one, listening to your favorite romantic song, watching a heartfelt movie with a box of tissues nearby, or curling up with a cherished book. Next to snuggling up with my hubby, I do love to get swept away with a beautifully written romance book. If you do too, then there's a contest that I think you'll enjoy. And the best part is, there are prizes.
It's all about the love here and the participants of the Romancing the Valentine Giveaway Hop, hosted by Reading Romances, are giving away some fantastic prizes including romance books, ebooks, and gift cards. The contest runs between February 6th and February 13th, so don't hesitate to enter!
I'll be giving away two of my ebooks, Penny Serenade: Tokens of the Heart Book One, and Midnight's Sweet Kiss, to two lucky winners. Simply post your favorite romantic scene in a book or movie along with your email addy so I'm able to contact you. Names will go into a box and the winners will be announced on the 14th here on my blog.
But I'm not the only one giving away lovely goodies.

I love the scene in Love Actually when the little boy runs through the airport to tell the little girl that he loves her. I tear up every time. What a romantic scene and a perfect example of puppy love.

I love the scene in The Notebook at the end when she finally remembers her husband and they end up passing away together in each other's arms. I cry like a baby every time I see that!

I was going to say that could not recall, but someone else mentioned The Notebook, and it was a very romantic story.

My Favorite romantic scene is from John Hughes "16 Candles" when Jake Ryan & Samantha are sitting on his dining room table with her birthday cake for in between them & he tells her he got her undies back for her:)
My favorite is Gone With the Wind also. I love the scene where Rhett sweeps up Scarlett and takes he up the stairs.

Hi Stacie! Love Actually is one of my most favorite movies. I spend the last bit of the movie going between laughing and crying like a manic, and I love it, lol.
Ann :)
Morning Anne! It has been ages since I've watched Meet Joe Black, I definitely need to rent it again. Very enjoyable movie. :)

Vadeluna07 - Oh the Notebook makes me ball like a baby. So touching and fantastic acting by all the actors. They totally brought that movie to life for me. I'm hoping to see The Vow this week - I know to bring a ton of tissue :)
Ann
I agree Sara - The Notebook is lovely. :)
Ann
Shadow - indeed - Pride and Prejudice is an excellent movie, and How to Lose a Guy cracks me up everytime I watch it. I want to look away toward the end but then I can't help but watch :)
Ann
Desi - awesome choice - I watch that movie once a year. Huge fan of old movies. :)
Ann
Great pick KrySyKat - another old movie that I watch time and again. I love to get swept away in the classics.

Titanic is another one that has me blubbering. I feel the love between Kate and Leo's characters and yeah...the music and build-up, and it's so bittersweet.
Ann :)
Little Rabbit - 16 Candles is my favorite 80's movie. The song that plays during the scene is also a favorite...it's just perfect...and so sweet. She went through so much on her birthday and that kiss makes it truly her sweet 16. :)
Ann
Another vote for Gone with the Wind :) It's a timeless classic!
Thanks for stopping by mcv.
