Haunt Me Taunt Me

Well, today starts another busy week with writing, edits, reviews, and research to do. After a full week of sunshine we're expected to have a lot of rain in the forecast, so that will actually make the muse happy. Often times she gets distracted when there's a lot of sunshine. I'd like to finish up one story today that I have in mind where to send.

Private Dancer

Happy Saturday all! Family and I are going out today, want to check out the seafood & wine festival and get some samples ;) Today I received an acceptance from Venus Press for my story Royal Delicacy. It's always exciting to receive acceptances! Need to print out the contracts and mail off today.

I also see that Private Dancer is still doing well in the paranormal charts at Whiskey Creek Press Torrid. I love the cover by Jinger Heaston. It also made it in the P&E Poll as #10 for best cover :)

The flow is smooth, and the story intriguing. Ms. Cory has written a romance with extra elements to keep you tied to the pages; there is tension and suspense, and mystery throughout the story. I would have liked the sex scenes to be a little longer, but considering the length of this story it was an excellent read.

Pretty Poison never tasted so good

It's a beautiful Friday here, the sun is out and the skies are bright blue :) I'll be spending some time reworking my website in the coming week. So make sure to check back. I am of course keeping the gorgeous design, but need to change some pages around.

I've always heard that good things come to those who wait, but the problem is, I'm not a patient person. I still wait though. So, maybe my time is coming :) I wrote down all my goals for 2006 and it's crazy. I'll have to push myself, but I know I can do it :) Even though 90% of it does incorporate the WORK side, I do have a few fun and personal goals. I'm definitely going to walk on the beach more often!

Sorry to have been absent for so long...lots on the go. Working on stories, series, novels, edits, promos, networking, reviews, and well of course the whole family and free time(yeah right) thing. Hopefully I'll start getting organized soon! February seems to be flying by fast...eek!!!

Anyway, I will do my best to be here on a daily basis :) Or at least, 5x's a week ;)
