The Story BoardLast weekend we went and watched
Santa Clause 3 - The Escape Clause. You know, I loved the first one very much and still do. It's on my top list of movies to watch over the holidays, along with
A Christmas Story, Home Alone, Elf, It's a Wonderful Life, Serendipity, Love Actually, and the Grinch(cartoon version). The second one was okay, had its moments, but the 3rd one *sigh* had less laughs than ever. Still, it's become a tradition for us to watch them, so we did.
I was looking at what else is coming out that I'd like to see.
Blood Diamonds looks good,
The Holiday looks charming - I'm a HUGE Kate Winslet fan, and both my son and I are looking forward to
Eragon as we both enjoyed the book immensely. I think this year has been the least exciting for movies in quite some time. In previous years there have been big movies out like
Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, LOTR, and King Kong. What happened?

I wanted to share 2 of my most recent reviews, both from TwoLipsReviews!
5 Lips for Under a Warlock's SpellUnder A Warlock's Spell is another masterful tale from that mistress of the imagination without boundaries, Ann Cory. I was captivated as always from the first page, and any reader who enjoys medieval history, fantasy, tales of magic, or just wonderfully enticing story-telling, will treasure this special tale. Ms. Cory demonstrates especial talent in this story in setting, characterization, and the redeeming power of enduring love, in addition to the imaginative flights of fancy in which she and we readers revel throughout the tale. Readers, hesitate not to acquire Under A Warlock's Spell; it has definitely earned its place on my keeper and re-reader shelf! ~Reviewer Frost
5 Lips for DrinyianDriniyan, as always, is a masterpiece from the marvelous Ann Cory, and I think this has become already one of my personal favorites. Ms. Cory has an incredible imagination which she doesn't hesitate to apply, and this blend of Gothic, medieval, and modern with touches of BDSM and love lost, found, and lost again will surely appeal to any reader seeking a touching and revealing story. ~Reviewer Frost

My Midnight Romp
Bard of Bristol is currently #1 on the hightest rated and read for Midnight Showcase at Fictionwise, which was nice to read.
Question of the Week: The pic below is a glimpse of a character I'm writing about. What I'm missing are a few key components and I wondered if you would help me. Based on your suggestions, I will choose 1 and that person will win a handcrafted book thong and an Ann Cory butterfly magnet. What I need is:
hair color, hair length, eye color, and a sexy first name. I will post the winner on my next blog update. Here's my source of inspiration:

My workouts have been going by the wayside, and I'm not really proud of that, but I'm finding it hard to fit in during my day, or at least this month. The one class I really enjoyed lasts an hour and a half and I found it was just too much time. So I've been walking on the treadmill and listening to tunes. I wish I could get motivated to exercise lol. Anyone have any tips on how to do that? Toss them my way!
I suppose I should get going. I have an edit to finish up, a story to work on, and hopefully I'll find the motivation to get our tree put up! Er, that counts as exercise, doesn't it? lol Everyone have a fabulous weekend!
