One tradition I have is that I send Ho Ho letters to a couple of my cousins children for Christmas. Ho Ho letters are letters from Santa with personal info about the child receiving it that Santa knows because they are on his Good list. Thanks for the giveaway!

Ann,
A tradition that I started is to only bake sweet potatoe pies for turkey day. The reason...I would never stop eating it...they are that good! It's one of my guilty pleasure and I could eat the whole thing..over and over and over and over...you get me. So I only make them once a year...The kids begged at other times but I refused...LOL! I could always count on the kids dropping by...So it really is a special tradition!
Thanks Ann for the opportunity to share. Take care

When the weather is nice, we love to go for long walks in the fall. Delaware can be really muggy in the summer, and once the humidity is gone, we are outside as much as we can. Thanks for being in the hop!

I hate it when spammers get to my favorite book blogs!
Once it hits Nov. 1st in our area, parking becomes free at our favorite local beach. That's our queue to start hitting the beach in the afternoons or for sunsets. We love it.

In the fall, my mother and I traditionally go shopping across the border in the States. It used to be that it was back to school shopping, but now that I've graduated, who knows if the tradition will continue! I hope that it does, though - I get great deals on books when I cross!

Our family has the tradition of spending the day after Thanksgiving putting up the Christmas Tree and spending the day decorating it and the house. So much more fun than fighting over Black Friday sales.

I enjoy a good bonfire every once in a while during the fall. Thanks!

My favorite fall tradition is the bonfire my friend Marty has every year at his house to celebrate the end of another boating season. I had to miss it this year, because we moved 1000 miles away. :-(
